Arriving at your flight destination

The arriving process is quite simple. Remember to check that you have all of your carry-on baggage with you before leaving the plane. Follow the other passengers until you reach the terminal, what you will do next depends on your travel plan. If you are arriving from an international flight, always have your passport available.

If you are at your final destination, follow the signs to the Baggage Claim, check out your baggage and proceed to the custom control (if you are arriving from an international flight). You might have to show your passport or identification before entering the baggage claim area.

If you are transferring to another plane, try to follow the transfer signs on the airport. If you enter the airport in the departure are, try to find your gate or go to the nearest information kiosk and ask for assistance. Sometimes you will have to enter a security control before entering the departure area or transfer area. It is a good idea to have your boarding pass and identification available. Be aware that at some airports you will have to claim your baggage and check it in again during the transfer. If you are transferring from an international flight to a domestic one, it is a good chance that you will have to check out your baggage and bring it through the customs control. Ask for assistance at an information kiosk if you are transferring from an international to a domestic flight.
